Casa Vida welcomes DIMES for annual monitoring visit and appreciation event

Casa Vida welcomed DIMES for its annual monitoring visit on 14–15 September, reviewing the work supported through the Social Services Program and marking a year of partnership.

On 14 September, DIMES joined Casa Vida’s Social Workers for follow-up visits. The next day, the team held a one-hour socialisation session with students at 05 de Maio School before meeting with Casa Vida’s Management and Social Services teams.

The meetings reviewed the year’s work, including community socialisation, client assessments, follow-up and support for reintegration with families. Casa Vida’s clients also presented their skills and achievements during the visit.

Casa Vida hosted an appreciation gathering on 15 September. Representatives from TAF, MSSI, JSMP, INDICCA and other partners joined the Casa Vida team. The programme included traditional dance, a fashion show, singing and a food showcase featuring products prepared by clients.

DIMES’ annual support helps Social Workers conduct outreach, follow up with clients and support reintegration. Casa Vida thanks DIMES and the partner organisations who joined the visit.
