We change lives!

Casa Vida was established in 2008 as a not-for-profit organisation and has since become one of the leading and most respected providers of care and support for survivors of abuse in Timor-Leste.
We work in an integrated, holistic manner to support children and young women who have experienced violence and sexual abuse—alongside their families—focusing on their physical, emotional, social, and educational needs.
In addition to providing shelter services, Casa Vida runs two well-regarded social enterprises in Timor-Leste: Kafé Aroma and Arte Vida. These initiatives offer more than just quality hospitality experiences—they serve as vital training grounds for women from vulnerable backgrounds, helping them develop practical skills, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward a brighter, more independent future.
