Child Protection Awareness to Promote a Safe School Environment ❤️
Casa Vida conducted a child protection and violence prevention awareness session at Arca Infantil Hera School, with the participation of 234 students from primary and pre-secondary levels.

The activity aimed to increase students’ knowledge of different forms of violence, including sexual harassment in public spaces and at school.
During the session, students learned how to recognise different forms of violence, understand and respect personal boundaries, prevent sexual harassment, and seek help when experiencing or witnessing acts of violence. Students were also provided with guidance and encouragement to speak up and seek support from trusted people, such as teachers or the school principal, whenever they need help.
Every child has the right to protection, respect, and safety. Through collaboration between Arca Infantil Hera School and Casa Vida, we strengthen our joint efforts to promote children’s rights and create a safe, inclusive, and violence-free school environment.
Child protection is a shared responsibility. Together, we can create a safe environment for every child.
Casa Vida Timor-Leste is committed to protecting women and children from gender-based violence, providing safe shelter, care and a path forward since 2008.
